The Redmont Hotel, Curio by Hilton and The Kelly Birmingham, Tapestry Collection are located in downtown Birmingham, offering easy access to theaters and museums. Established in 1925, The Redmont Hotel blends 1920s charm with modern luxury, featuring a fitness center, free Wi-Fi, and rooftop views. The Kelly Birmingham, part of the Tapestry Collection, is near several dining options and cultural sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional Guest Services as part of the Sales & Catering team
• Oversee the Redmont and The Kelly sales function
• Lead and empower the Sales & Catering Department
• Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and train team members
• Foster strong relationships within the Sales & Catering team and across other hotel departments
• Ensure guest satisfaction by orchestrating remarkable experiences
• Participate in annual budget planning, goal setting, and implementation
• Conduct ongoing research in the travel industry to identify market trends and develop marketing strategies

Requirements

• 6 years of Hotel Sales/Convention Service Management experience
• 6 years of Sales Management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Confident using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus

Qualifications

• Examples: OPERA, OnQ Food Handlers Certification, Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification, Valid Driver’s License
