What You'll Be Doing

  • Utilize an advanced understanding of customer needs and technical leadership expertise to champion return on engineering investment.
  • Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
  • Understand customer needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering and design services resources to facilitate solutions for customers.
  • Apply technical knowledge to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and strategies.
  • Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
  • Conduct technical calibrations & research with sales & other Arrow departments & Suppliers in support of customer design.
  • Champion return on engineering investment, design win priorities, initiatives, and promotions by obtaining buy-in and support from sales.
  • Attend supplier trainings in person and via conference calls.
  • Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progressing towards initiatives.
  • Identify key relationships amongst decision makers within suppliers and customers.
  • Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and QBRs.
  • Develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions.
  • Participate in ArrowEDGE initiatives through branch training and customer calls.
  • Organize engineering customer events.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in software engineering, design engineering, Field Application Engineering function or similar.
  • Experience with embedded processors such as NXP i.MX Series, Qualcomm Snapdragon Series, TI Sitara Series, Mediatek, Rockchip or other based on Cortex ARM A-series cores.
  • Proficiency with High Level Operating Systems (HLOS) such as embedded Linux and Android and associated development tools.
  • Guide others in resolving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing solutions and procedures.
  • Serve as an expert within own discipline.
  • Serve as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projects.
  • Train/mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 5 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid: 1 day in office / 4 days remote or on the road.

Pay

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $91,900.00 - $152,020.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
