Market Data Category Lead - Vice President
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for a team of sourcing professionals across Jersey City, Warsaw, or Bangalore.
- Manage team performance, workload prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation to support business objectives.
- Lead strategic supplier negotiations and category initiatives across the Market Data portfolio.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver commercial value, risk management, and operational excellence.
- Support the Category Director in driving team strategy, execution, and talent development.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and results.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5+ years of Market Data Services experience.
- Extensive Sourcing and process knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and judgment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines.
- Able to work effectively across regions and with all levels of management.
- Client management and relationship management skills.
- Strong financial analysis skills and experience conducting cost/spend analysis.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel, plus Ariba procurement tool.
- Understanding of legal contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the ability to support contract development and compliance.
- Experience working with third-party providers in a Financial Services context.
