Market & Business Intelligence Analyst
About the role
The Market & Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting DLA Piper's strategic initiatives. They conduct extensive research on current and potential clients, analyze search results, compile reports, and provide critical information for the firm's business development and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Identify market trends, industry developments, client movements, and other relevant client news to inform the firm's marketing and business development efforts.
- Conduct thorough research on current and potential clients using web sources and internal data to identify cross-selling and targeting opportunities.
- Analyze search results, compile reports, and provide executive summaries.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market and client research.
- Assist in developing new markets and support client pitches.
- Support the creation of a competitive intelligence research and business analysis team by contributing innovative ideas and utilizing specialized tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research, Business Analytics, Business, Library Services, or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience in marketing research or knowledge services.

Physical Demands

Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.

The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
