About the role
Responsible for managing shipping and logistics operations, including scheduling, tracking, and coordinating shipments.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all shipments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
