Marietta Hourly Maintenance Line Mechanic

About the role

The Maintenance Department at our facility is seeking an experienced Hourly Maintenance Line Mechanic to join our team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position will be responsible for maintaining all plant equipment, performing Preventive Maintenance (PMs), repairing broken equipment, and assisting in other areas of maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment in the plant
• Check for proper operating conditions
• Perform PMs for all equipment
• Repair any broken equipment
• Help in other areas of Maintenance as needed

Requirements

• Frequently required to walk, climb, and move in tight spaces
• Frequently required to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, and controls
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust vision focus
• Work is performed in a plant setting with moderate noise level in the working environment
