Marble Statue Boy With Thorn

Item No. TYM1-2

About the Sculpture

The world-famous "Boy with Thorn" marble statue is 100% hand-carved from natural white marble, which resists cold and heat. This Greco-Roman Hellenistic sculpture depicts a boy withdrawing a thorn from the sole of his foot. The statue is also known as Fedele or Spinario, derived from an anecdote about a faithful messenger who delivered his message to the Roman Senate before stopping to remove a painful thorn.

The white marble material perfectly presents the holiness and faithfulness of the sculpture. Our engravers use excellent techniques to restore the original appearance of the famous statue, with delicate faces and realistic clothing pleats that bring the marble figure to life. Natural white marble veins ensure your statue is unique.

Our skilled sculptors can carve the statue in any size as requested. The nude boy with thorn marble sculpture symbolizes loyalty and serves as a beautiful decoration for many places. As a 31-year sculpture manufacturer, we can also produce this piece in fiberglass or bronze cast. The original "Boy with Thorn" statue was created in bronze, so contact us for information and pricing if you prefer those materials.
