About the Role

Carowinds is looking for friendly and enthusiastic team players to entertain guests of all ages by bringing everyone's favorite pals Charlie Brown and Snoopy to life! You'll bring smiles and create long-lasting memories for guests by posing for photos and storytelling in Camp Snoopy. Join Charlie, Snoopy, and the rest of the gang to help create unforgettable experiences.

MUST SUBMIT PROOF OF HEIGHT OR ATTEND AN IN-PERSON AUDITION. Proof of height can be submitted via photo, resume, video, or by sending to ca.auditions@sixflags.com.

Responsibilities

• Creates fun meet-and-greet experiences in the park for guests by portraying beloved Peanuts friends.
• Interacts with all guests and associates cordially and with respect, courtesy, and fairness.
• Performs character walks in costume, entertaining guests using nonverbal interaction as trained.
• Maintains costume, including cleaning and brushing.
• Acts as a character attendant/usher when needed, greeting guests and ensuring performer safety on set.

Requirements

• Ability to interact with children of all ages.
• Must be physically able to handle the demands of a full-body costume, including high heat, limited visibility, and limited mobility.
• Previous experience in children’s theater, character costume performance, or related experience is a plus.
• Good judgment and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Passion and excitement about Carowinds.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
