Mapleton Operations Plant Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Fatty Acid Plant (FAP), Wastewater Treatment operations, and Warehouse operations.
- Manage the Derivatives Plant (DP) and Hydrogen Plant (HP).
- Ensure production of products and intermediates meet or exceed customer expectations while ensuring safe operations and compliance with environmental policies and regulations.
- Control manufacturing costs within budget and maintain effective and efficient operations.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement and coordinate operations with other Mapleton functional groups.
- Contribute to the strategic operations of the site, including short and long-term strategic planning and project responsibility.
- Staff and develop the production workforce.
- Ensure conformance and reporting of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree and 10+ years' experience in a chemical process plant environment with supervision and engineering responsibilities.
Skills
- Communicating/working with individuals with varied backgrounds and nationalities.
- Strategic vision with an outlook from 0-5 years.
Summary Compensation & Benefits
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
Pay Range: $123,500-$205,900
