Job Summary
The Manufacturing Training Coordinator develops, implements, and manages training programs for manufacturing and warehouse employees, focusing on training on-the-floor technical skills and safety procedures. This role ensures employees are adequately trained to perform their jobs safely and efficiently, contributing to overall operational success. He/she is responsible for all phases of the training program from new hire preparation through hands-on position competency for employees, including all relevant refresher training and certifications.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Organize and manage new hire set-up.
- Organize and manage new hire training - for first 30 days, then incrementally for the first full year.
- Assesses and validates training needs through multiple means, to include subject matter experts.
- Develop and administer training programs for staff.
- Be part of creating and maintaining a training matrix to document the skills progression of each employee.
- Research and analyze various functions within the training environment to assist with the development of training materials; establish processes and procedures to monitor and improve curriculum life cycle.
- Certify/re-certify shop employees (safety training, forklift, bobcat, etc.).
- Provide guidance to supervisors and/or employees in planning job-related career development programs.
- Be an employee advocate and encourage career development through individual career planning.
Education And Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ work experience.

- Self-motivated, ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision.
- Attention to detail required and strong organizational skills.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistent and punctual attendance to set schedule.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time.
- Regularly required to move about the facility as needed.
- Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors, etc.
Compensation
- $65k to $80k depending upon experience.
- You may also be eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus - $2,500 to be paid after 90 days, $2,500 to be paid after one year.
