Manufacturing Training Coordinator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver structured training programs for shop floor employees, focusing on safety, quality, and production processes.
- Conduct computer-based and hands-on instruction and skills validation for machine operation, fabrication processes, inspection requirements and safety procedures.
- Standardize training materials, work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across multiple sites.
- Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to identify skill gaps and implement targeted development plans.
- Maintain accurate and current training documentations, records, and competency tracking in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Partner with Quality and Safety teams to integrate defect prevention strategies, injury reduction practices, and audit findings into training content.
- Measure training effectiveness using defined performance metrics and employee feedback and adjust programs to improve learning outcomes.
- Utilize digital tools, e-learning platforms, and blended learning methods to enhance accessibility across shifts and locations.
- Travel regularly to manufacturing facilities to deliver on-site training and ensure alignment of training practices.
- Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company policies.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED required.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant field and asset (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of Fiber Glass manufacturing experience, preferable in a leadership/coaching role.
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
- Flexible scheduling availability.
- Experience working with diverse teams and departments.

- Factory environment includes exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Willingness to travel frequently between multiple locations.
