1st Shift: 7am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Additional overtime available as business requires.
About the role
Manufacturing Technicians – Plastics are responsible for working in production with consistent speed and accuracy while maintaining production standards and working towards improving productivity without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
- Pour urethane into molds and line different pump parts.
- Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment.
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
- Follow production guidelines and specifications.
- Finalize and package products for shipment.
- Monitor the production line and remove faulty products.
- Participate in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Pull and put away molds and cores based on manufacturing needs.
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviors in support of a world-class safety culture.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot molding problems.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Able to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
- Ability to work as a team as well as being self-directed.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.
- Must be able to stand, sit, and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt, and sand.
- Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
Pay
$16 per hour.
