Receive, identify, locate, and retrieve materials
Communicate with all levels of customer and EB management
Interface with Quonset Point, Groton, Off-Site Management and government personnel
Contribute to site improvement goals in Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule, and Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with site leadership to ensure readiness for inspections and audits
Material segregation, creating shipping documents, and communicating expected ship dates to downstream consumers
Work other than normal duty hours, to include shift work, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

High School diploma or GED
1+ years of warehousing and/or material handling experience
Business and EWA travel to other shipyards/strategic partner locations is required
Must be prepared to work other than normal duty hours, to include shift work, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with subordinates and supervisors
Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Project, VISIO)

With material ordering and inventory control computer systems (e.g. MRP, EWP)
An understanding of material documents, including receipts, shipping documents, etc.
Oracle Training
Vocational, Technical, and Community College or Apprentice programs
Proficiency in Cornerstone, PQS
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Project, Excel & Power Point

Highly organized with the ability to multitask within a constantly changing environment
Strong coordination skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong communicator with the ability to balance priorities
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of EB and government management/oversight
Experience with MDDs, SDDs and DI’s
