Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure stable and consistent performance in production.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) and assist with scheduled calibrations and qualifications.
- Respond to tool alarms, faults, and process deviations, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Execute basic troubleshooting and support root-cause investigations led by engineering teams.
- Maintain equipment readiness by managing consumables, setups, and process conditions.
- Record and track tool performance data, logs, and maintenance activities in MES or equipment tracking systems.
- Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and changeovers in coordination with production schedules.
- Assist with installation, relocation, and qualification of new equipment or upgrades under engineering guidance.
- Follow and enforce cleanroom protocols, safety procedures, and EHS requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including work instructions, checklists, and maintenance records.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to support yield improvement, defect reduction, and process stability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Semiconductor manufacturing flow and cleanroom operations, a plus.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid systems in a production environment.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions with precision.
- Basic Data entry and familiarity with MES or equipment tracking systems.
- Comfortable working in cleanroom conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to handle equipment safety and follow strict procedural controls.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years working in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Equivalent hands-on experience in semiconductor, photomask, or cleanroom manufacturing environment, a plus.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment or production tools, a plus.
- Experience in supporting preventative maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting, a plus.
- Education:
- Hands-on technical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Associate degree or technical certification, a plus.
