Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Supports production line by conducting routine tasks which may include setting up, taking down, cleaning and undertaking the routine maintenance of operating equipment, as instructed, to ensure continued production.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

• Required to gown in full PPE, including wearing a backpack/filter system for air circulation as part of the PPE requirements.
• Participate in shift pass-down meetings (approximately 10-15 minutes).
• Support four different manufacturing processes, including equipment cleaning and manual cleaning activities.
• Facility manufactures a single product on-site. Production schedule consists of approximately three batches per week.
• Responsible for dispensing materials in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) required.
• Experience with GDP (Good Documentation Practices) required.
• Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to review, complete, and maintain batch records accurately.
• Troubleshooting experience within a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• SAP proficiency required, including: Opening and closing work orders/processes in SAP General SAP transaction management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Preferred Background: Experience in material dispensing, manufacturing operations, or production support.
• Familiarity with spray drying operations (final production step) is a plus.
