Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate machines that support the Silfex manufacturing and finishing processes
- Learn and perform 5S in and around work area by enacting lock out/tag out
- Develop proficiency in 1–2 designated processes through hands-on training and experience
- Learn and apply Silfex policies and procedures to perform routine tasks effectively and safely
- Follow all material handling requirements to ensure quality of product and equipment
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, follow all work instructions, setup sheets and process specifications
- Record quality and production data accurately and promptly in batch records, ERP systems, and productivity or quality logs
- Ensure cleanliness of the area and perform general and routine housekeeping tasks
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly by performing routine and minor maintenance. Initiate maintenance work orders when necessary to support operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain competency in basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Silfex Quality Management System and properly apply Quality Procedures and Operating Procedures as appropriate
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- 0-1 year of manufacturing experience
- Ability and willingness to efficiently and effectively operate equipment in cleanroom apparel for 12-hour shifts and work safely around hazardous chemicals
- Basic proficiency in operating computers, including navigating software and web-based platform
- Basic proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly drawings, follow all work instructions, setup sheets and process specifications
- Basic proficiency in record keeping and maintaining quality and production data accurately and promptly in batch records, ERP systems, and productivity or quality logs
- Basic proficiency in ensuring cleanliness of the area and performing general and routine housekeeping tasks
- Basic proficiency in ensuring equipment is functioning properly by performing routine and minor maintenance. Initiate maintenance work orders when necessary to support operational efficiency
- Basic proficiency in developing and maintaining competency in basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Basic proficiency in developing and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the Silfex Quality Management System and properly apply Quality Procedures and Operating Procedures as appropriate
- Basic proficiency in performing other duties and projects as assigned
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Regular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles
- Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
- Moderate noise levels
- Frequent exposure to cleanroom environments requiring the wearing of cleanroom gowns (including hood and mask) for the duration of a 12-hour shift on a regular basis and other PPE including respirator, acid PPE as needed

D Shift: 6pm - 6am ET
