Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe & climate-controlled environment
• Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Perform quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reduction

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment working with equipment used for high-volume production
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred

Pay & Schedule

• 2nd: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr (Depending on experience) + $1 shift differential
• 3rd: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr (Depending on experience) + $1 shift differential
