Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical machines and/or computer systems.
- Use written procedures and technical drawings as needed.
- Gather information and record it into internal computer systems.
- Use tools and test equipment provided (e.g., cordless screwdrivers, torque wrenches, DVMs).
- Support manufacturability and ramp-up of products, performing technical measures to complete projects.
- Troubleshoot detectors and diagnose problems, including handling low levels of radioactivity in some positions.
- Support containment, rework, and verification activities for detectors with identified issues.
- Assist with troubleshooting detector failures, test anomalies, and non-conformances, including root cause identification and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and apply new technical skills.
- Ability to read and follow procedures.
- Ability to accurately log data into computer systems or paper.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.
- Hands-on work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of hand tools (e.g., mechanical or electric torque wrenches).
- Working knowledge of electrical test equipment (e.g., DVM, ground bond testers).
- Ability to read technical drawings (e.g., mechanical, wiring diagrams).
- Ability to load software onto different types of computer systems.
- Ability to work 1st shift.
- Ability to work overtime occasionally (e.g., weekdays or Saturdays).
- Some post-high school education (e.g., mechatronics certification, AS or BS in a technical field).
- Work experience in a technical field.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $52,890 - $72,721. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission-eligible position, the commission will be in accordance with the Company's plan and based on individual and/or company performance.
