Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician produces and packages medical cannabis products in preparation for testing and distribution, ensuring regulated products are made in a timely, high-quality, and compliant manner for qualified patients in Florida.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow direction and production goals, consistency across large volumes, and adaptability as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fill cannabis oils and formulations into various products
• Package and label all cannabis and non-cannabis items, including weighing and packing flower products, packaging edibles and concentrates
• Operate, clean, and maintain filling machines and other equipment
• Complete production orders with consistency and quality while maintaining reasonable speed
• Keep accurate records at all steps in the process to maintain quality and control of regulated products
• Maintain awareness and adherence to GMP regulations and company SOPs
• Be aware of quality and compliance standards for each product type
• Maintain proper PPE and hygiene for work in a clean room environment

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI)
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, standing, 80% of the time or more
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work cleanly and efficiently
• Responsible and self-managed
• Excellent follow-up and tracking skills
• Ability to work both individually and in teams
• Flexibility to switch tasks as production goals change

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a licensed cannabis production facility
• General manufacturing or packaging experience
• Degree (preferred but not required)
