Manufacturing Technician (8:00am-5:00pm)

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Responsibilities

• Weigh, assemble, package, and label various forms of cannabis
• Operate equipment as needed and dictated by the process
• Adhere to manufacturing processes
• Maintain accurate daily activities records and operation logs as directed
• Continuously prioritize organizational goals and visions related to:
  • Safety and security of employees and product
  • Compliance with all policies, regulations, and laws set forth by city, county, and state to ensure security of the operating license
  • Quality of product and packaging
  • On-time delivery and customer service
  • Process performance
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
• Additional duties as assigned by manufacturing leadership

Requirements

• Production experience in the food/beverage or pharmaceutical industry desired
• Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with a team
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage high-stress situations, and be flexible and adaptable
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle constructive criticism and guidance
• Must have reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA, and WV)
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass a comprehensive background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties
• Capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods throughout the workday

Environmental Requirements and Exposure

• Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables

Schedule

40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
