About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer - 2nd Shift, the hours for this role are from 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie systems facility.
Responsibilities
- Drive quality control and assurance in our assembly and manufacturing process.
- Drive cross functional teams to improve Cost of Quality, FPY and Warranty costs.
- Develop and improve FMEA and control plans for manufacturing processes.
- Improve customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and improving product quality.
- Implement tools and controls to improve First pass yield.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues with cross functional teams.
- Support production in making quality-related decisions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product design and manufacturability.
- Accountable for First Pass Yield, Scrap and warranty costs for manufacturing line.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering role in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of experience in leading cross functional team in a production environment. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Knowledge of QMS, CAPA and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45000. Training and demonstrated success in FMEA, DoE and applying problem solving methods.
- Preferred Qualifications: SAP Knowledge, Six Sigma and ASQ Certification preferred. Black belt is a plus. Knowledge of Minitab, JMP or other statistical software. Knowledge of UL standards for switchboards and panels.

Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $115,790 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
