About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to take on supervisory responsibilities. Key duties include leading Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale activities, ensuring adherence to company policies, managing manpower, setting up and managing production processes, leading quality initiatives, maintaining production records, and ensuring quality and production goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Plan and allocate manpower to meet daily production demands.
- Ensure training goals are met to support manpower adjustments.
- Enforce company work rules, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve issues related to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- Drive continuous improvement efforts across the department.
- Coach and develop team leaders and members to align with department and plant goals.
- Achieve compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Compile, sort, and analyze data for process improvement and problem-solving.
- Support quality feedback systems and monitor improvement efforts.
- Assess supplier part and process acceptability.
- Maintain training plans and records for flexibility and compliance.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional areas to maintain 1st Time Quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or 6 years of experience leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing or logistics setting.
- 2-4 years of leadership experience in coaching and supervising employees.
- Experience in an operational environment such as manufacturing, distribution, or transportation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Exceptional candidates might have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, and strong analytics background.
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong ability to compile, sort, and analyze data for effective problem-solving.
Qualifications
- BS/BA and 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment OR 6 years of experience leading teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing or logistic setting in lieu of degree.
- 2-4 years of leadership experience coaching and/or supervising employees to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
- Experience in an operational environment; i.e., manufacturing, distribution, or transportation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Exceptional candidates might have a BS/BA degree in Engineering or a related field, and strong analytics background.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong analytics background with ability to compile, sort, and analyze data for effective problem-solving.

Pay
The starting salary range is $95,000 - $121,000 USD, dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.
