About the role

Total Site Solutions (TSS), Georgetown, TX, seeks a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead and supervise a team of production workers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production workers to achieve daily production targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the production planning team to develop daily production schedules and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet production goals.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, conduct regular inspections, and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Cook up with the inventory control team to manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory levels.
  • Ensure accurate inventory counts and timely replenishment of materials as needed.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Identify training needs and implement development plans to support employee growth.
  • Foster open communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to resolve issues and drive alignment toward common goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and manufacturing ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality excellence.
