About the role

We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor 1st Shift to support operations on the Skid facility at our SieSAW Knightdale, NC facility. This role is a key part of an expanding supervisory team and is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement in manufacturing startup environment. As a Production Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, develop frontline talent, and partner cross-functionally to drive operational excellence and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leading daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery (SQCD) targets while maximizing labor and equipment utilization.
  • Developing and coaching a team of production associates, leaders, trainers, driving engagement, accountability, and strong performance.
  • Championing Safety, 6S, and Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Planning to resolve issues, support new product introductions, and implement process improvements.
  • Monitoring and acting on key performance indicators (KPIs) through Tier Meetings, data analysis, and corrective actions to sustain operational performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in a production leadership or supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6S, and process improvement, supported by strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and proficiency with standard production systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with heavy electrical equipment manufacturing and/or Lean or Six Sigma certification.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and partner effectively across functions.
  • Experience with electrical products including switchgears LV, MV and HV, transformers, inverters, panel boards.

Pay

$61,547 – $105,509

Schedule

Working flexible shifts include morning, afternoon and weekends as needed.
