Manufacturing/Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Andover, MA
About the role
The Production Supervisor at Raytheon's Andover, MA facility is responsible for overseeing a manufacturing operations cell in the Precision Metal Fabrication value stream, consisting of 15-20 employees. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing the flow of work to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Responsibilities
- Execute the schedule and cost
- Workforce planning and forecasting
- Employee hiring and training
- Time and Attendance Tracking
- Area layout and flow management
- Capital identification and control of overhead expenses
- Ensure full compliance of company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience working in manufacturing as a supervisor
- U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- Experience working in and/or guiding a CNC Machine/Assembly shop supervising bargaining unit employee in the aerospace/defense industry
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma implementation projects
- Experience leading a team-based manufacturing environment with minimal supervision
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)
