About the role

Bring your talent and leadership to Raytheon's Circuit Card Manufacturing factory. This high-visibility opportunity is for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor in the Sensors High Mix value stream for Patriot product. You will have overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team of 15-20 assembly, inspection, and test employees in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role ensures products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing production flow. You will lead safety initiatives, engage with cross-functional teams, and support manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to measure progress and address production challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Execute production schedule and cost targets
  • Workforce planning, forecasting, hiring, and training
  • Track time, attendance, and manage area layout/flow
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and control capital and overhead expenses
  • Lead safety improvement projects and maintain a safe work environment
  • Collaborate daily with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and program management
  • Identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality, and staffing issues
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and lean methodologies
  • Achieve and exceed cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices
  • Experience as a Manufacturing Leader
  • Ability to obtain Interim Confidential U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
