About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to support production operations by improving manufacturing processes, increasing productivity, and ensuring consistent product quality. This role partners closely with production teams and engineering to drive continuous improvement, standardize best practices, and solve day-to-day manufacturing challenges.
Responsibilities
- Support assigned production lines and manufacturing operations.
- Improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and throughput.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven problem-solving techniques.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to improve plant operations.
- Analyze process performance and recommend improvements to equipment, workflows, and manufacturing methods.
- Support employee training and cross-training initiatives.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, process improvement, quality, laboratory, or related engineering roles.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience creating work instructions, SOPs, and training documentation.
- Ability to work closely with production teams in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electroplating, metal finishing, or surface treatment is a strong plus.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment, chemical processes, or production operations.
- Knowledge of process optimization and production efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred but not required. Candidates with relevant manufacturing, production, maintenance, laboratory, or technical experience and strong problem-solving skills are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment
Full-time, on-site position. Hands-on role requiring regular interaction with production teams and manufacturing operations.
