About the role

Start your career with GlobalFoundries as a Manufacturing Operator! You will be part of a team producing technology used in cellphones, computers, tablets, vehicles, and more. No experience is required; training is provided. Operators work on toolsets and equipment through computers and modules, playing a critical role in the production of microelectronic chips.

Responsibilities

• Work in a clean room environment wearing a clean room suit and gloves.
• Sustain and run the manufacturing floor.
• Set up and operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work in a team environment to meet production goals.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Language Fluency - English (both Written & Verbal).
• Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks).
• Comfortable wearing a clean room uniform.
• Ability to comply with all GlobalFoundries pre-employment screening requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to receive and follow instructions.
• Ability to find information in a spreadsheet or on a website.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting.

Pay

Night Shift Hourly Rate: $23.63/hour (includes shift differential). Night Shift Sign-on Bonus: $5,000.

Day Shift Hourly Rate: $21/hour. Day Shift Sign-on Bonus: $2,500.

Expected Salary Range: $35,400.00 - $55,300.00. The exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Day Shift: 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Work approximately 14 days per month with occasional overtime available.
