Responsibilities

  • Set-up and change over production machinery, including die set-up and material changes.
  • Operate all presses and/or CDCH coating lines in compliance with TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
  • Ensure continuous operation of machinery to eliminate unnecessary downtime.
  • Perform CDCH coating operations, including prep, coating, sheet separating, and de-framing of gaskets while maintaining part-specific rates.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure each machine is stocked with material throughout the shift.
  • Assist tooling personnel in correcting potential issues with a die.
  • Provide light maintenance on machines or dies, including oiling and greasing.
  • Complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.
  • Assist in general housekeeping of the department.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Highly motivated with strong time management and priorities management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel; BPCS experience a plus.
  • Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers.
  • Metrics-driven.
