About the role

The Manufacturing Operator performs assembly and material-handling activities, operates basic production tools, and supports workflow to meet daily production, quality, and safety requirements. This role follows prints, work instructions, BOMs, and standard work; performs in-process inspection; completes required documentation; supports changeovers; and communicates issues to maintain efficient, safe, and on-time production.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic assembly and material-handling tasks per standard work.
  • Operate hand tools, carts, and basic production aids.
  • Follow prints, work instructions, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
  • Perform in-process inspections and identify/communicate nonconformances.
  • Complete required production documentation (logs, labels, counts, etc.).
  • Support changeovers and line readiness activities.
  • Follow safety, quality, and ESD requirements; wear required PPE.
  • Maintain 5S and a clean, organized work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to support daily goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
  • Attention to detail, quality, and communication.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to follow safety, quality, and ESD requirements; ability to wear required PPE.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Pay

$18.00 - $21.00/hour

Schedule

On-site, Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to 1:00am
