About the role
The Manufacturing Operator performs assembly and material-handling activities, operates basic production tools, and supports workflow to meet daily production, quality, and safety requirements. This role follows prints, work instructions, BOMs, and standard work; performs in-process inspection; completes required documentation; supports changeovers; and communicates issues to maintain efficient, safe, and on-time production.Responsibilities
- Perform basic assembly and material-handling tasks per standard work.
- Operate hand tools, carts, and basic production aids.
- Follow prints, work instructions, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Perform in-process inspections and identify/communicate nonconformances.
- Complete required production documentation (logs, labels, counts, etc.).
- Support changeovers and line readiness activities.
- Follow safety, quality, and ESD requirements; wear required PPE.
- Maintain 5S and a clean, organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support daily goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 0-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Attention to detail, quality, and communication.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow safety, quality, and ESD requirements; ability to wear required PPE.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
