Manufacturing Mixer/Machine Operator

About the role

This position involves following specific formulations to mix and mill dielectric materials using ball mills, hock mills, and bead mills, and supporting casting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work from formulation sheets to weigh materials and chemicals on scales.
• Load mills and set timers per specification.
• Use zahn cup, specific gravity cup, and other analytic equipment to verify materials.
• Assist in cleaning up solvent or material spills while following proper PPE protocols.
• Communicate daily with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Leads departments.
• Follow frequent verbal instructions and inspections of work or materials produced.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a chemical environment.
• Comfortable wearing a full mask respirator.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience measuring and mixing chemicals.
• Experience setting up and operating semi-automated machines.
• Experience working in a Clean Room Environment.

Pay

Hourly Rate (Non-Exempt): $21.00 - $23.00

Schedule

7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
