Manufacturing Materials Coordinator
About the Role
Join Waters' Milford Operations team as a Material Coordinator supporting manufacturing, kitting, and warehouse operations in a dynamic environment. This role ensures materials are accurately received, stored, transacted, and delivered to production while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in SAP, and committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support production by ensuring material shortages, discrepancies, and urgent requests are addressed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics teams to resolve material-related issues.
- Follow safety and quality requirements while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Facilitate order fulfillment by managing daily order dispatches.
- Execute material movements, inventory transactions, and warehouse activities in SAP to support manufacturing and customer demand as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, materials management, logistics, or manufacturing support.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform inventory transactions accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
