Materials Coordinator

About the role

This Material Coordinator position is located in the Stockroom Department at the Kingston, NY manufacturing facility. The role supports shipping, receiving, steel room operations, and material handling to ensure daily production needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for shipment: pick items, verify country of origin, pack, and complete all required documentation.
• Ensure all export requirements are met.
• Receive deliveries, process paperwork in the system, and stock materials in defined locations.
• Move parts from manufacturing work centers; prepare outsourcing items to meet pickup schedules.
• Maintain the steel room: ensure proper material identification, storage, and accurate system inventory.
• Complete daily cycle counting and troubleshoot discrepancies in all department areas.
• Maintain 5S standards in assigned areas, including updating charts.
• Perform duties of an Operator as required.
• Carry out additional assigned duties and ensure all work activities comply with established safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in a shipping/receiving role.

Pay

Annual salary range: $22.82/hr – $26.18/hr.
