Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required.
  • Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
  • Promotes safety and good housekeeping.
  • Maintains awareness of environment concerns caused by process and reports deficiencies to Supervisor.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
  • This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer's inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
  • Must be able to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

Qualifications

  • This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Crane and Forklift experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift; Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Physical & Mental Demands

  • Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
  • Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
  • Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 35/lbs.
  • May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
  • Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
  • Ability to hear in person and via phone.

Pay & Benefits Information

  • The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
  • This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
