Manufacturing Laser Operator 3rd shift

Role and Responsibilities

• Operates Laser cutting machines to manufacture parts, equipment, and other components from sheet metal.
• Operates press material loader/unloader.
• Prepares, sets up, and adjusts Laser cutting machine as required by product plans and production schedules.
• Measures and aligns materials to be used.
• Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Performs routine maintenance on the laser cutter.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate laser cutter controls.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to operate the laser cutting machine.
• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Experience Requirements

• Manufacturing experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Laser Cutting Machine Operator experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay and Schedule

• PAY RATE - $32.00 - $35.00/hr. depending on experience and shift differential pay available
• SCHEDULE - 3rd Shift, Work Days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Work Hours - 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 36 hours per week
