CPI Card Group is looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Human Resources Manager to support our Manufacturing team based in Littleton, CO. The HRM will act as the frontline consultant to the business, serving as a champion of engagement and company culture, while working with managers to provide guidance and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Management Impact: Serve on designated leadership teams. Utilize visibility across the organization to spot trends, identify emerging needs, and address them in partnership with appropriate stakeholders. Develop and implement department goals and continuous process improvements. Participate in strategic planning.
  • Staffing: Partner with managers to improve efficiency and productivity by developing and monitoring staffing plans. Coordinate recruiting needs with internal Talent Acquisition (TA) team. Manage all aspects of onboarding and terminations in close alignment with TA, ensuring compliance with all state and federal legislation.
  • Benefits Administration: Deliver annual enrollment options in collaboration with the internal Total Rewards (TR) team. Serve as a resource for all benefits inquiries, including health, dental, life insurance, STD, LTD, FSA, HSA, 401K, holidays, and PTO.
  • Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with HRM peers to develop and administer consistent policies and procedures, ensuring both legal compliance and fit for purpose.
  • Systems and Records: Maintain employee records, data, and reporting with the highest degree of confidentiality. Ensure accurate information in all HR systems and files, including ERP, payroll, external employee databases (e.g., benefits and insurance), and HR employee databases used for reporting and supporting managers.
  • Employment Law: Stay current on state/federal employment law through continuing education (seminars, industry periodicals, peer groups). Exercise judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, and applicable laws (e.g., FLSA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, UI, WC, EEO).
  • Employee Relations: Partner with stakeholders to lead change management efforts. Support supervisors and managers in handling conflicts and facilitating difficult conversations. Serve as the primary contact for employee complaints, coordinate investigations, and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Employee Engagement: Proactively solicit feedback from employees at all levels to develop and maintain a high-performing culture. Champion the annual engagement survey and develop/implement action plans based on results. Drive accountability and healthy conflict resolution. Promote company pride and culture to reduce turnover and enhance engagement.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion as drivers of business success. Educate leaders and employees on the value of an inclusive workplace and advocate for DEI initiatives.
  • Training and Performance Management: Support people managers with career conversations. Coordinate and develop training plans as needed. Manage the annual review process in collaboration with TR, including ad hoc performance management (compensation/incentives, warnings, discipline).
  • Org Design: Ensure organizational charts, job descriptions, and job titles remain current and aligned across assigned employee populations. Recommend and implement changes when necessary.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated career progression.
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for people.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and analysis.
  • Ability to understand the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and related administrative practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, sometimes with ambiguity or under pressure.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of building relationships, influencing effectively, and delivering results.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality.
  • Adept at problem-solving and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Previous HR experience in a manufacturing facility is a plus.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization is a plus.

Pay

Pay range: $119,700–$149,700, plus bonus potential.

This is an onsite position in Littleton, CO.
