Manufacturing Equipment Technician Dry Etch

About the role

This role involves performing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor tools to enhance equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability. The position supports a 24/7 operation in Marcy, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs
• Modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance

Requirements

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Skills

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The posted salary range is $18.40 - $25.30 per hour. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors.

Schedule

12-hour shifts on Back End Days (Every Thurs, Fri, Sat, and every other Wednesday)
