Equipment Technician-Etch

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written procedures
• Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
• Support the equipment section with other responsibilities as needed
• Become certified on a variety of tool types
• Work with counterparts within engineering department and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goals
• Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment

Work Location & Schedule

On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday–Friday. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation

Starting salary typically ranges between $23.55 and $31.24 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $23.55 - $33.85 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
