Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Coordinator

The role involves identifying and prioritizing maintenance requirements, coordinating materials, parts, and assemblies to meet maintenance schedules, assisting supervisors in achieving daily goals, and providing technical support to the team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize maintenance requirements and coordinate materials, parts, and assemblies to meet maintenance schedules.
- Aid supervisors in achieving daily maintenance schedules and quality goals.
- Provide guidance and serve as a source of information for technicians and support groups.
- Coordinate documentation and trainings for operators.
- Perform maintenance services as required and as needed.
- Adhere to environmental policies, procedures, and support departmental environmental objectives.
- Coordinate daily work direction for maintenance technicians.
- Assist in developing action plans to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain updated training information and ensure maintenance technicians follow proper procedures and established rules.
- Understand operational and equipment support systems, including tracking systems and documentation.
- Train new maintenance technicians.
- Act as a liaison for manufacturing and support groups, such as operations, quality, production control, and management.
- Motivate and provide leadership to maintain high-quality productivity and efficiency.
- Safely and effectively utilize necessary equipment and tools, maintaining a clean and conducive environment.
- Anticipate and solve emerging situations, ensuring a safe environment.
- Juggle priorities based on volume and time frame requirements.
- Create effective handoffs between technicians and supervisors at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Foster a Credo-based environment and ensure correct policies and guidelines are followed to maintain compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies.
- Perform troubleshooting and complete repairs to keep manufacturing equipment running efficiently, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components.
- Participate in special projects or assignments, such as validations, product transfers, equipment improvements, layouts, and technology testing.
- Assist in qualifications and equipment movements, using and completing IQ/OQ documentation, ensuring compliance with engineering group and procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Technology is required.
- Experience working in the medical device industry is preferred.
- Knowledge in computerized systems is desired.
- Basic knowledge of the SAP/Maximo system is required.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations is required.
- Must be computer literate in E-Mail, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Detail-oriented and able to develop and meet deadlines, delegating tasks and following up.
