What You'll Do

  • Execute and lead operations commissioning, critical maintenance, production readiness validation, and mission-critical changes ensuring zero compromise on safety, compliance, or operational integrity
  • Apply project management principles to plan, coordinate, and track operational initiatives including production trials, process ramp-ups, maintenance prioritization, and execution readiness activities
  • Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing processes through SPC and data analysis, ensuring process stability and quality of production output at assigned stations
  • Develop, maintain, and implement process changes, control plans, and manufacturing instructions utilizing the management of change system
  • Lead shift planning and provide targeted guidance to maximize team effectiveness, leveraging diverse skill sets and ensuring operators have necessary tools and resources
  • Train and mentor process operators as a subject matter expert, proactively identifying and communicating operational improvement opportunities to management
  • Contribute to operational strategy by providing frontline insights on equipment performance and process feasibility; collaborate with supervisors, managers, and quality teams; escalate issues when necessary; and support engineering validations

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in chemical production with proven commissioning and project startup expertise
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and apply project management skills to cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience interpreting SPC, process capability, and Gauge R&R to drive data-informed decision-making
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation, reporting, and operational tracking
  • Knowledge in SQL, Python, and Jupyter Notebook preferred for advanced data analysis and process optimization
  • Knowledge in CAD, GD&T, and basic material fabrication (3-axis mill, lathe, etc.) preferred
  • Strong adherence to company safety and conduct policies with demonstrated ability to collaborate across shifts, engineering, and quality teams

Essential Physical Demands

  • Climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time, including a respirator and safety harness
