Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to manufacturing.
• Interface with production personnel to actively troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues or escalate appropriately.
• Perform preventative maintenance and qualifications on equipment of intermediate complexity.
• Create and implement process improvements with engineering and production.
• Absorb and assist engineers with component and tooling implementation for production, including but not limited to equipment validation.
• Strict attention to detail in following instructions and creating documentation.

Requirements

• At least one year of assembly or equipment maintenance experience, preferably in a medical device environment.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with computer use, Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Office 365.
• Mechanical aptitude/trouble shooting abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and efficient management of time and resources.
• Able to easily adapt to new tasks.
• Able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision.
• Read and understand simple mechanical drawings.
