Manufacturing Engineer I

About the role

Support Production in meeting Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery goals by applying Engineering principles and Continuous Improvement tools to develop future-state plans, provide capital project proposals, and execute the 12-month operating plan. You will also support projects and equipment acquisition, requiring knowledge of layout planning, work procedures, cost impacts, crewing guidelines, and takt-time analysis. This position is located in Warroad, MN, and relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the production floor, addressing current challenges and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with production staff, leadership, and other support departments.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and manage projects to advance Production capabilities.
• Support initiatives within a specific Production area as part of an Engineering team.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, procedures, and technology.
• Willingness to learn production processes, limitations, and challenges.
• Ability to participate in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to ask questions and discuss details.

Pay

$68,000 - $91,000 annually.
