There is an emphasis on supporting the company’s products and processes related to system/component design, development, manufacturing and testing. Responsibilities Applies engineering and scientific principles in such technical fields as mechanics, electronics, flight technology, structures, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, and computer scienceResponsible for creating product work instructions and being the technical lead for production hardwareResponsible for troubleshooting, dispositioning non-conforming hardware, and providing root cause and corrective actionContinuously strives to improve processes & techniques and analyzes workflow, space requirements & equipment layout to optimize production with a lean manufacturing mindset.Support prototyping phase and launch of new products by developing and validating manufacturing processes.May conduct or participate in portions of studies, investigations or analyses involving reliability, predictability, value and quality assurance issuesPrepares reports, charts, graphs, and other related documents Critical Competencies Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, across functional areasPossesses advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skillsDrives for results to establish Root Cause & Positive Corrective ActionsExperience with CAD software for 3D models and 2D drawings (SolidWorks preferred)Drives for results, action oriented, strong initiativeAbility to work in a team environment as well as independentlyQuantitative analysis skills using Excel and other software tools Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field required2 years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferredExperience with various test and measurement equipment (e.g. voltmeter, oscilloscope, calipers, micrometers)Mechatronics/Electro-Mechanical background preferredManufacturing/assembly experience preferredMust be a U.S. Citizen Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
