Main Responsibilities
- Support product stewardship activities to ensure compliance with global environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Aid in evaluating products for compliance with regulations such as RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, PFAS, and other applicable standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to resolve compliance-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, declarations, compliance certificates, and customer responses.
- Monitor changes in environmental and product compliance regulations and communicate impacts to the organization.
- Support sustainability initiatives, including material risk assessments and environmentally responsible product development.
- Participate in supplier engagement activities to obtain compliance information and improve data quality.
- Assist in customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal compliance reviews.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to product compliance and stewardship programs.
- Analyze compliance data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and customers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to product stewardship processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (± 16 years) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 0-3 years relevant engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience with CAD systems.
- Basic understanding of mechanical reasoning, physics, electronics, metal working, and plastics.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Ability to travel approximately 5%, including internationally.
Pay
The base pay for this position is $73,900.00 – $116,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
