Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and implement continuous improvements activities to improve key performance indicators (contribution, on-time, cost of quality, incident rate, net efficiency, safety, ect)
- Design and develop manufacturing processes and equipment to support new or modified products
- Supervise/assist in the development of non-standard products
- Evaluate new and existing processes and equipment for improvements
- Understand financial performance and its connection to specific activities
- Plan and coordinate new product introductions and product enhancements to meet project margins, costs and introduction dates
- Direct internal and external resources to resolve field or quality concerns
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for assigned product lines, ensuring production meets quality, efficiency, and delivery targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Engineering or related field
- Preferred 3 to 5 years of relatable work experience in engineering or manufacturing
- Experience with Experience in a BPCS or MRPII manufacturing system
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement principles
