Manufacturing Engineer
About the role
Provide daily technical support to manufacturing operations, including maintenance and functional groups. Analyze product designs to determine the most efficient manufacturing methods. Specify tools, equipment, and processes for part/assembly production or evaluate existing processes. Direct the design and construction of tools and equipment or recommend process improvements. Develop new tools, equipment, and processes for manufacturing. Interface with equipment vendors and contractors to implement new systems and manage existing ones. Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes and products. Write and implement work instructions, processes, and procedures for production and department use. Analyze product variations and implement process capability improvements. Develop and implement manufacturing control strategies and productivity improvements. Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct. Perform special projects as required.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering and 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience; or 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

- Good project management skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Ability to work overtime as required to support production or project work.
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite.
- Proficient with CAD and modeling software.
- Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with SAP.
- 3D CAD experience with PTC Creo Parametric.
