Manufacturing Engineer
About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in Team Wendy's mission to enhance safety and performance in protective gear. This position requires a deep understanding of manufacturing systems and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of new, changed, or improved products
- Develop and document process routings and labor standards
- Work closely with quality and manufacturing personnel to implement measurement and process control techniques
- Analyze manufacturing process flows for enhancements in quality, cost reduction, and throughput
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop tooling and processes
- Develop specifications for tooling, equipment, parts, or materials and evaluate products according to quality standards
- Provide engineering support to production department to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / industrial engineering
- Experience with tooling, machining, and fabricating processes
- Experience using CAD software such as Creo, Pro-E or other design software
- Knowledge of measurement techniques including inspection and laboratory testing
- Ability to read technical drawings / blueprints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Prior experience with industrial paint application
- Prior experience with CNC programming (HAAS, Mazak)
- Prior experience with robotics (FANUC, UR, Doosan)
- Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive attitude
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with a statistical software package such as SQC Pack or Mini Tab
Skills
- Prior experience with industrial paint application
- Prior experience with CNC programming (HAAS, Mazak)
- Prior experience with robotics (FANUC, UR, Doosan)

Pay
The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $80,000 to $95,000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
