Manufacturing Digital Integration & Transformation Project Manager
Job Summary
You’ll drive the digital transformation of our manufacturing processes by connecting and driving the implementation of two major strategic programs—S4E Unify (S4/HANA) and PLM360 (Teamcenter).
About the Role
Your day moves between big-picture process design and detailed requirement shaping, using your expertise in either S4/HANA or Teamcenter and manufacturing process experience to guide decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries: partnering with manufacturing teams in Gas Services Central globally, engaging with different factories and the GS Manufacturing Process Owner, and aligning closely with IT, external consultants, and solution partners.
- Actively connect stakeholders, steer discussions and foster decisions across sites and product lines.
- Create transparency, drive integration and alignment across our major digital transformation programs with a focus on manufacturing.
- Identify gaps, overlaps, and dependencies across initiatives, and define pragmatic solutions together with business and IT partners.
- Drive simplification across product lines and locations by balancing local business needs with global End-to-End process requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration and decision-making across organizational boundaries, including steering complex topics toward outcomes with the greatest business value.
- Communicate and share the targets and especially the implications of the strategic programs in the manufacturing communities advocating and driving the change.
- Contribute to coordinated rollout execution by planning activities, aligning stakeholders, and supporting structured delivery across multiple sites and waves.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or a comparable field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or business environments, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in project or program management, especially in the area of digital business process transformation and global rollouts.
- Hands-on experience with S4/HANA and/or PLM/Teamcenter implementations is a strong advantage.
Qualifications
- Strong collaboration, moderation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across functions and seniority levels.
