Manufacturing CNC Machinist (3rd Shift)
Responsibilities
- Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
- Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards.
- Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
- Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Setup machines in accordance with job routings, set-up sheets, tooling drawings, component blueprints, and verbal instructions.
- Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
- Align with all safety and work instructions.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as required.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Strength in arms and legs and the ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- A mechanical attitude (demonstrated through interest or experience in areas such as automotive, construction, computers, etc.).
- The ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
- The ability to read and comprehend machine (G-code) programming (machinist positions).
- The use of precision measurement tools and gauges.
- The shop math ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas.
Preferred Qualifications
- An associates degree or equivalent experience in Machine Trades or Tool & Die.
- Journeyman Machinists encouraged to apply.
- Two to three years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
