Primary Job Responsibilities
- Effectively and independently diagnose, plan, and perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, and dismantle various types of complex manufacturing and support equipment.
- Focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, gearboxes, VFDs, HMIs, and PLCs on complex high-speed packaging lines.
- Resolve mechanical and/or electrical issues as they arise with minimal direct supervision.
- Provide preventative, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing production equipment, as well as building equipment.
- Coordinate with other technicians, production personnel, engineering, management, and other personnel to communicate and plan maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with equipment/service vendors for OEM assistance.
- Perform mechanical and/or electrical work daily.
- Perform unscheduled or emergency repairs on equipment when needed.
- Troubleshoot and correct complex problems on manufacturing equipment by repairing and/or replacing needed parts in a timely manner.
- Identify and design opportunities for maintenance or process improvement and drive recommendations to implementation or resolution.
- Follow all maintenance procedures including inspections and repairs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Industrial Maintenance field.
- Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent education to include vocational/technical certificate strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience utilizing CMMS software such as SAP, Fiix, etc.
- LOTO and Arc Flash training.
- Must exhibit a high degree of troubleshooting in HMIs, Mechanical, and Electrical.
- Must have experience utilizing Microsoft Office for E-mail, Word, and Excel.
- Will be required to obtain certification to operate MEWPs and Class 1-7 Forklifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial Electrician Certification.
- 5+ years' experience of manufacturing maintenance in a food grade facility.
- Allen Bradley VFD training.
